A couple weeks ago, we linked you ya’ll up with an the latest installment of the Flaming Lips’ video I Want To Get High, But I Don’t Want Brain Damage, a collaboration with the Lips and hyperactive noise-rock duo, Lightning Bolt. The results were as to be expected. Colorful and slightly disturbing. Well, that latest installment is the latest installment no more. Wayne Coyne and his psychedelic group of wanderers have just released the video to I’m Working At Nasa On Acid.
Of Course, this video contains colorful words and projections of insects. It also includes about 30 seconds of noisy disturbing pink goo, chapped lips, and really bad hygein. The first 3 minutes is distinctly a Lips-run venture, but when Brian Chippendale of Lightning Bolt blasts into the next passage of the song, their brand of sped-up, disruptive noise heightens the visuals even more. If you like weird visuals, are trying to contemplate how Wayne Coyne even lives his life, or just a plain old glutton for punishment, watch the new video above.
