Each year at Pitchfork the masses are introduced to a plethora of new artists. Like Surfer Blood last year, Wild Nothing burrowed a place into our hearts last weekend. Murmurs from friends and the crowd compared this contemporary band with The Cure. Tough shoes to fill, however, Jack Tatums haunting voice and the dreamy synthesizer confirmed their inferences. Nostalgic feelings and goose bumps assured us that we needed to download them as soon as we got home. Check out one of our favorites “Golden Haze” above.
