Wuts good bro, its been a strong minute… how you livin’?! 

Whats goin on bro, it has been a minute dawg, everything is good on my end though fam, i cant complain at all.

You still puttin’ out good music and reppin’ the Tone the way it should be held down…what’s your secret to staying consistent and relevant? 

Yessir, always, always, im in the lab everyday cookin somemthin, whether its a collab verse or my own track. And really i dont have a secret, i just love makin good music, so i push myself day after day to make that get done.

You recently put out a mixtape ‘Truth Be Told’ …I feel like we’ve been waiting on this tape for a long while, why did it take so long for us to get a new project from you? 

YESSS ! Truth Be Told ! A good tape man, it took a while simply cause of life, alotta things goin on at one time, u know, sometimes u have to put things on hold in order to get things done the correct way and thats basically all that was wit me and that project.

What all did the process entail of you putting together this compilation? 

Really, this was a different project from any other project and i wanted it to be all original, so timing was a big deal, had to wait for all my beats to get made, some songs i wrote with out beats, and the recording was done all by me , myself, and i lol. The mixing amd editing was all me. The mastering was my Dj, Top Notch. ! It was a experience puttin the project together though cause its selfmade.

By the way, ‘Truth Be Told’ was definitely a banger!…props to you on that my g!

I remember in high school you would actually be one of the main indviduals at lunch freestyling while someone else made a beat on the table with their fist and a pen/pencil…what made you want to transend your lunch freestyles into actual songs that were recorded in studios? 

Yeaa ! Lol. Those were the days , maan ! But actually man, i just started listenin to ppl around me telling me to get in the lab and see what i could do, so i took that route basically. And i wanted to be heard more then just at a lunch period lol.

How often are you in the studio recording? 

I shoot for everyday, if not everyday, every other day fasho. Simply cause i work full time now, and im a father as well taking care of my responsibilites . But if i miss a day in the lab, i sure am at home writing so when i go the next day i got double to do , u feel me.

Now your originally from Indiana right?…Whereat in the midwest state are you from?

The Big Bend. ! (South Bend Indiana)

What brought you down to San Antonio from Indiana? 

My pops job and moms job. I could have stayed, but nobody would be there for me better than moms and pops.

You used to be in a rap group called ‘NSR’ along with fellow 210 rapper QP…are you still a member of NSR? 

Yessir. ! NSR (NawfSides Realist) Est. 2006 , a small group of basically bro’s from different mothers and fathers, we still goin strong. !

We don’t see you with QP as much, do you guys still make music together?…are you guys still cool? 

Oh yea. ! Thats my bro right there, we cool it on the daily matter of fact, and when we coolin it, the mic is on and the pro tools is runnin. !

I see you have also been associated with Nawfwest Nyce’s camp, ‘Lifestyle Music’ …whats good with that? 

Yessir, shouts outs to my big homie Nawfwest Nyce, put me down with his Lifestyle Music camp, im glad to be apart of that and be able to bring my life in rhymes along with what he does as well.

Whats the most difficult aspect of being an underground rapper trying to cultivate a buzz?

Just getting ppl to understand and realize where im comin from when they hear me on these beats.

If you could choose one artist to collab with who would it be and why? 

T.I. , simply because i can relate to alot he ahas been threw in his life, and i know the song would be one hundo (real) , lol, and not only would we just make the song, in the process i know he would be like a mentor to a nigga u feel me.

If you could choose one artist to use as a feature who would it be and why? 

Future, cause that nigga got some fire ass hooks and everybody would listen to it cause that nigga on it, then i would smash the verses too, soo it would be A1 !

Whose your favorite rapper of all time?

Chamillionaire .

What are you currently working on music wise? 

I juuuust finished my single. ! “Clear It Up” Pro. by James Coburn . Im also 3 tracks in on my next project “Crucial Conflict” , dont have a drop date yet, and im in the process of a tape with the NSR team, and Nyce just hmu three days ago sayin “yoo, lets put togetha a small tape” lol, so im turnin up bro !

Where do you see yourself in 5 years? 

I see myself livin in a nice settled area, makin music , also runnin my own label, and gettin paid for what i love to do.

Whats your preference in regards to sippin’ sumn?! 

Shiit, i sip lean, not like i use to though, but im more of a dark liqour and root beer type nigga, EnJ, Henny, etc.

What makes your sound as an artist different from anybody else? 

I dont bite anybodys style on the mic, i have my own, and i dont worry about who likes it or not cause every type of music gets chose one way or the other. U feel me.
