UK artist Nizzy dropped in on Jessey to talk about his new EP ‘Love N Rhythmz’, the follow-up to last summer’s ‘Pillow Therapy’ EP.
Produced by Kai The Producer, Ritzybeats and AJ Productions, ‘Love N Ryhthmz’ continues to carve out a lane for Nizzy as a unique voice in the afrofusion scene, taking influences from afroswing, dancehall, afrobeats, and pop to create a sound that will be stuck in your head all week.
On the inspiration behind this project, Nizzy said
“The project is about love and good vibes, I was trying to capture that summertime feeling we’ve all had that’s full of love experiences. This project is what my love life sounds like, my world is full of happiness, sweet love and good energy, and I was trying to put all that energy together into an exciting musical experience for listeners. This record means a lot to me, and I wanted to show people the other side of my afrofusion sound after ‘Pillow Therapy’ last year”.
