From Guelph, Ontario, Canada, Nathan Lawr has released single, ‘Restless’. ‘Restless is the second single off his new album coming out soon, Apocalypse Marshmallow. Nathan, a songwriter and drummer, has made a perfect song, ‘Restless’, that is a great listen to help mellow down the day after work.
Nathan single prior to ‘Restless’ was ‘Apocalypse Marshmallow,’ same name as the upcoming album. Music video was shot by Tobin Stewart, and is quite the show. Going back and forth with wide shots of a creature walking in the snow, and an up close shot of the creature walking around. It is very intriguing video, and leaves me wondering where they came up with the idea.
Nathan Lawr on ‘Restless’, “I’ve never been more restless. But we were restless before now. Relentlessly. I wrote this song more than nine years ago. I actually can’t remember at all when or where I was when I wrote it. I’ve been making this record for so long, things have gotten pretty blurry along the way. It’s such an eerie feeling, my past self sending me messages through song for the future. Because “Restless” is a song for now. It’s all about living in this moment of perpetual dissatisfaction, the search for things we already have, and while we endure this moment of profound physical disconnections, we wait, so restless.”
