Born and raised in Northern New Jersey and now heavily rooted in Pittsburgh, Ryan Haynes’s newest musical venture brings a new and refreshing sound to the table. Having taken on many roles in the music industry, his experience as an internationally touring DJ and producer (DJ Afterthought) allowed him to gain immense knowledge of the industry, and to explore his own creative side. After years of perfecting multiple genres, Ryan started to create music that he really connects with. Inspired by the alternative, roots, electronic, pop et hip hop genres, he uses his music to accurately capture his feelings, expressing relatable content with catchy melodies.
Today we’re thrilled to premiere his new video for “Outside” – streaming below! The touching video paints a lonely picture about coming to grips with loss. The visuals pair perfectly with the song’s emotion-heavy vocals. “Outside” truly captures a mood – something not easily done. We’re excited to share this one today.
In his own words:
“The song really allowed me to express some thoughts and feelings that I’ve had built up inside. A lot of us miss someone or something and even though it might not show on the outside the inner battles still remain. This song is a journey through these experiences.”
