Check out the incredible new single from Copenhagen psych-pop group The New Investors. They’ve always been a favorite for us here at GroundSounds, so we’re really excited for their new album to come out. For now, we get a taste with this fresh tune. As the band describes: “On this track, the search for a renewal of life drives a group of young believers into the desert to await the return of a special star that will mark the start of an alternative, and hopefully better existence.”
As the title reveals, the single marks a turn back to the beginning for The New Investors. In addition to returning to their duo constellation, Glenn Müller and Søren Tiemroth have gone back to their original expression and unique sound – breezy surf-pop mixed with a dream-pop aesthetic and a clever twist of psychedelic sounds.
