Rorie is a singer-songwriter, crafting music that tells stories of heartache and hope. With poetic lyrics and emotive vocals, her songs are ethereal, yet grounded in reality. She transports listeners to other worlds while tugging at the heartstrings of what it means to be human.
Rorie is preparing to release her debut full-length album, Valley in the Mirror, in January 2020 and it’s the most holistic picture of her artistry to date. Her writing here is like looking in a mirror and addresses core topics we all go through. It encourages listeners to look at situations from new angles, reflect on life’s low points (the valleys) and push forward to navigate it in a positive direction.
We are excited to premiere her new single, “Up In Smoke” – streaming below! The track is one of the most feisty songs on Valley In The Mirror. It was recorded with Charlotte Martin, a veteran Los Angeles-based artist and producer who Rorie opened for in 2016. The track grabs you from the start. It’s intense, haunting, and powerful.
