We had the pleasure of talking with our good friend Mary Lambert to discuss her 2nd studio album Grief Creature which is slated to release on November 15. Mary tells us that this is the project she’s ‘always wanted to make’. She expresses all of her vulnerabilities on subjects ranging from Bi-Polar Disorder to falling in and out of love.
While the tone of Mary’s music is melancholy, it also has a sort of redemptive quality and an ‘I can do it’ attitude, this album is no exception. This album will have you laughing along with Mary and have you crying all at the same time; the full range of emotion is pulled out of the listener while consuming this ‘vibey’ record.
