Hailing from Queens, New York, Otis Clapp buried himself in music from a young age as a means of escaping an unstable and abusive home life. His passion for hip hop drove him from lunchroom cyphers to sharing stages with heavyweights such as Action Bronson, Diplo, J.Cole, Mac Miller, Ab Soul and more. He’s gearing up to release his new EP Quentin and we’re excited to premiere the new video for “Eulogy” today on GroundSounds! The video is no-frills, no BS – you’re watching the man deliver his art. Turn this one up loud – it’ll be in your head all day.

In his own words:

“During the writing process for ‘Quentin’, I thought a lot about death. Not necessarily suicide, but more how I wouldn’t want people to be upset at my wake if I DID die. Unconventional to some, but through the good and bad, I’m living the life I want to live. If I died tomorrow and was able to speak at my own wake, “Eulogy” would be my final thoughts and perspectives to offer the world.”
