The March Divide is the brainchild of San Antonio-based artist Jared Putnam. Over the course of three albums, five EPs, numerous singles, and a batch of cover songs in a mere half-decade, Putnam’s mostly one-man project The March Divide has delivered a seemingly unending stream of songs that have established the Texan as one of the best rock songwriters working today. Putnam is gearing up to release his new album Anticipation Pops on August 24th and we are excited to premiere the video for the track “I Don’t Care” below! The animation in the video is simple, but does a great job of focusing the viewer and letting the concept build. It pairs perfectly with the instantly relatable and easily likable song.

“I reached out to Harold Loeffler-Bell, to do some videos for Anticipation Pops after seeing some work he did for my friend, DB Rouse. Harry really has a way of communicating the songs, in a simple and completely accurate way. Being shielded, while everything is falling down around you, perfectly explains the attitude and emotion of ‘I Don’t Care.’ The ‘I Don’t Care’ video is the first part in the trilogy of animated videos for songs from this album.
