Emergency Tiara is a New York based pop artist you need to get to know, fronted by Juri, the lead singer, queen, curator and ringleader extraordinaire to the Emergency Tiara kingdom. Juri was born and raised in Tokyo, Japan. Classically trained in voice and piano, she is driven by the power of music to uplift audiences. We are excited to premiere the new video for her song “Don’t Grow Up” today on GroundSounds! The video is a fun take on a 60’s-style pop performance, bursting with bright colors and a fun vibe.
In her own words:
“I have two nephews who just are growing too fast!.They told me they are bored of being kids and ‘being told what to do’, and this song was born. I remember when I was a kid, being an adult seems so fun and free (and in one way, it is). But on the other hand, being an adult comes with lots of responsibilities and I miss the days that I didn’t have any. Enjoy being a kid, have some crazy dreams, and live big!”
