Toronto-based artist Rachael Bawn is an up-and-comer making waves with her music. She is getting ready to open for Silento on an upcoming tour (25 Dates) and is going to be playing a big women’s gig in Toronto with Annie Lennox, among others. Today we’re excited to premiere her live acoustic video for the song “Alive.” The video does well to capture what feels like a fun atmosphere with Rachael in studio and strips down the track to showcase her amazing vocals.
In her own words:
I love singing with an acoustic guitar. It gives the lyrics I wrote more of a focus and I can have fun with it. I love stripping songs back, singing with an acoustic guitar always excites me. It gives a laid back feel and makes room for me to change things up vocally.
