We fell in love with the track and are pumped for their upcoming EP Headfirst, out in April. The band was kind enough to put together a fantastic playlist of 10 songs that make them want to dance. Undercover Martyn – Two Door Cinema Club: Two door has been a huge influence on us over the years. This song is a perfect example of high energy chords and an explosive dance beat. You can’t listen to this song and not move.
New Rules – Dua Lipa: 3 words> This. Song. BOPS. She’s a pop queen and she slays everything she touches. We know you’ve heard it, we know you’ve danced to it, no need to be shy with this one.
i – Kendrick Lamar: This is a straight BOP from the best album of the decade and as soon as the beat kicks in your body just knows what to do. Not to mention the sick hook and the self-love message.
My Body – Young The Giant: We’ve been covering this song for years because everyone knows it rips. That rolling drum line, the way Sameer Gadhia just tears into the chorus. My body tells me yes, and I listen.
September – Earth, Wind, and Fire: This one needs little explanation. It’s THE definitional 70’s groove, and boasts arguably the most infectious and sing-along-able chorus ever written. I bet we got it stuck in your head just by mentioning it.
Saint Motel – My Type: A brass-driven, shout-fueled banger. The verses let you relax, but only to give your neck a rest between bouts of head-bobbing and fist-pumping in the choruses.
