This coming Saturday night (7/26) in Echo Park, London-based DJ/Producer Jon Hopkins will bring his infectious, atmospheric electronic music to Los Angeles at the one and only Echoplex. He comes to us while on tour in support of his fourth, most recent album Immunity, released June 3rd. The album is an incredible collection of songs that really take you on a journey through the eyes of an explorer among urban nightlife. This is is the perfect venue for Hopkins to really create an environment and habitat of his own, for that is what his music does. It picks you up and puts into a story, a movie, that he is the director of. With his tracks going from ambient, beat-driven escapades, to harder club grooves, this is sure to be an incredible evening for us LA locals. This is the 27th stop of 37 cities on his international tour, which started at the end of April in Italy. He’s played shows for packed venues in cities across the globe like Liverpool, Berlin, Paris, Brussels, Barcelona, and has recently been hitting a few of the major US cities in July as part of the North American leg of his tour.
