Every year during the annual MUSEXPO Music & Media conference, hosted by A&R Worldwide, an array of the top emerging international and U.S. talent lands in Hollywood. This collection of global talent showcases at the legendary S.I.R rehearsal studios on Sunset Blvd. Most of the talent is available for signing, licensing, booking, legal representation and/or publishing.
Over the years MUSEXPO has helped get numerous artists discovered, signed and/or launched across the U.S. or globe via these showcase events. Whether its Katy Perry, LMFAO, Jessie J, Frank Turner, Robyn, The Chevin, The Temper Trap, Ida Maria or others who have taken the stage at MUSEXPO prior to their global success – MUSEXPO is always keen to provide proactive industry, fans and others a chance to be the first to find the next great new discovery no matter what continent the artists come from.
This year was no exception, as there were numerous outstanding performances from groups coming all the way from Australia, Scotland, Norway, Belgium, and Switzerland, just to name a few. Though I couldnt attend the first night of showcases, I was able to check out nights two and three and definitely caught a handful of amazing talent, out of the 25 artists that performed over the course of the conference. View the pictures with descriptions below. These were, in my honest opinion, the artists that showed a lot of potential for longevity in the music industry.
Check out the full lineup and profiling of every showcasing artist this year here. There is a nice sample of their main single and a bio included in their profile. You are sure to find something that peaks your interest. Enjoy the pics of my favorites below and happy discovering!
