Check out the visuals for “Soak Up The City”, it’s a fresh one from the Bay Area band Sugar Candy Mountain. The track is a mix of surf rock sounds, grunge elements, and pop-rock, with very wishy-washy vocals. The guitar licks are psychedelic and the overall track has a very fuzzy, laid back vibe to it. The song is off of their new album Mystic Hits, which can be streamed here.
The album release party is tonight at the Rickshaw Stop with Sun Hop Fat and Sandy’s up in SanFran. The album sounds really amazing and that is mostly due to the fact that it was Mastered by up & coming Bay Area producer/sound wizard Bijan Sharifi. If you’re in the Bay check out that show tonight!
