Born in New York and now residing in Los Angeles, Molly Moore has brought another single with, “Shy”. This is the latest single from Molly’s upcoming EP, Escapism, coming out February 11th. “Shy” has a slow intro that turns into a mesmerizing beat that just takes you in from the beginning. Keeps you head bobbing, and invested all the while having Molly’s voice and lyrics almost pop out to you. A single that you absolutely need to add to your playlist.
With each of her previous projects, Molly has continued to embrace the changes in her life from experiencing loss with the passing of her father and ending a five-year relationship to searching for her voice and finding the light within. Losing any love one is tough, but to lose a parent is tough for anyone due to the fact that you get a feeling that you will talk to that person again, but you never do. That is a tough realization, and tough to keep pushing through everyday challenges with that. I have to give it up to Molly Moore with that, and have to say things may get tough, but you can keep striving to be the best you can be. Even if it feels like you never will. Keep going.
So many amazing things that Molly has done, take a look at some of the accomplishments she has completed. The New York-born and Los Angeles-based songstress sprouts raw thoughts through real anthems with her music as she builds a world around empowerment and expression. Molly’s art quietly impacted pop from behind-the-scenes and in the spotlight as a songwriter for pop superstar Jesse McCartney, K-pop phenomenon EXO, and actress/singer Lea Michele, as well as a composer of children’s music for Hasbro’s animated series Hanazuki. As an artist Molly was also previously one-half of pop duo Cosmos & Creature, signed to Steve Aoki’s Dim Maklabel, and shared the stage with Dua Lipa, John Mayer, and Bebe Rexha. Venturing off to create her own music and tell her personal journey, Molly has garnered over 17 million streams and praise from the likes of Paper Magazine, Hollywood Life, PopDust, Ladygunn, LA Weekly, and Pop Crush among others. Her music can also be heard in a variety of commercials and brands for Zales, Peloton, Toyota, and Jack in the Box and her single “Handsomer” ft. Maty Noyes is currently featured in the intro and outro of Amazon’s new film Jolt starring Kate Beckinsale.
