Seamlessly incorporating flutes and drums on a mellow beat featuring braggadocios lyrics Nasagolds latest single “Day One” brought back memories of being a kid in middle school listening to The Underachiever’s on my grandmas desk top computer.
The Columbus, Ohio native Nasa gold has given me nostalgia with his new music and visuals. The video consists of goofy shots of Nasagold and his peers enjoying a summer camp that just so happens to be named “Camp Gold Rush” a play on the artist name .The groups mischievous behavior is amply portrayed through out the music video showing scenes of failed attempts of archery, the group testing their skills or lack there of at fishing and smoking blunts on trials and in bathrooms. It’s literally the theme of an early 2000s teenage film its just fun and care free. It is also very different approach to a rap video, no naked women, no pointing guns, and no fancy cars. I highly recommend you take a look.
