Originally from Memphis, Tennessee, Ty Brasel has recently released Destiny Volume 1. While the project is very upbeat with catchy melodies and Sound Cloud esque beats it does not take away from the motivating and meaningful lyrics. He holds the listeners attention with relatable themes that most young adults trying to maneuver and stay strong in tough times. Songs like “Shine” and “Destiny” are good examples of the underlining meaning of this project.
Even if you are not religious you will still be able to connect with the music. Although it is a stigma behind “Christian Rap” Ty Brasel has found a way to mix HipHop and the heavenly father and still make it enjoyable.
