New York sisters Bebi Monsuta just debuted their infectious new single “808” with a fun, self-choreographed video that can’t help but put you in a good mood. Two rockstars from the Big Apple, Bebi Monsuta are made up of Manami and Akira, bringing a blend of their Afro-American, Caribbean, Japanese, and Portugese-Brazilian heritage into their bubbly and bold beats.
Pioneering a sound they call “kawaii-hop”, Bebi Monsuta combine elements of Brazilian funk and contemporary R&B to bring a uniquely fun yet still hard hitting sound to the hip-hop/R&B scene, full of energy and verve.
On who they make music for, Bebi Monsuta stood firm by their nerdy audience, saying,
