shn shn is a queer Black electronic producer, singer-songwriter and creator. She released her self-produced debut EP in October 2020 called structura. Her music is an ever changing experience, bending genre as she brings experimental elements into her practice. Her work allows exploration, contemplation, reckoning with duality and the spaces in between. She delves into production using lush vocals, meditative beats, swelling pads, to create cinematic inspired music.
shn shn is planning her follow up EP, e.strange.d. Ahead of the EP she has released new single “Maladaptive Daydreams,” which is about attachment to an idea/person and holding on so dearly to that even when cracks begin to form, distractedly so, the hopes and dreams become harder to tease from reality.
