Since their inception in Spring 2019 by cousin and best friend duo Sarah Perez and Kelsey Gant, Suitable Miss have impressed with their outgoing and relatable brand of melodic pop-punk.
With the addition of Andrew Elofson, Tom Hanson and Noah Sauls in the year that followed, Suitable Miss would go on to play two statewide headliners as well as a number of supports across Denver.
Instigating high-energy and unabashedly catchy pop-punk Suitable Miss splashes their abundant hooks with electronic and post hardcore influences.
Today we are thrilled to premiere their entire debut EP Don’t Look Back – streaming below! The EP is smooth, impressive, and catchy as hell. 6 tracks to formally introduce the band. You’ll be pumped, you’ll replay it loud, and you’ll be excited to see what comes next for them.
In their own words:
“Don’t Look Back is the first EP we wrote together as a band. It tells the story of growth and acceptance within yourself. The songs in this album have lyrics that were chosen very carefully and have important meanings behind them. This album will always have a special space in my heart because the songs go deep into the thoughts of someone that knows they deserve better, and won’t stop until they get that for themselves. We hope that this album will be something that people can relate to and reminds them that they are not alone. Life is tough, but it is never a hill that you cannot climb over and move past.” -Sarah Perez (Vocals)
“This EP was a phenomenal experience for me as both a guitarist and a mixing engineer. I love every one of these 6 songs because each song became an encapsulation of our personalities and inspirations. It was a ton of fun for me personally to explore some heavier and more technical territories on this EP as well as diving into our pop side. Being able to mix this EP was not just an honor, but an absolute blast to work on. I am incredibly proud of the engineering work that went into this record just as much as I am proud of the six songs we have created together.” – Andrew Elofson (Guitar)
