Montreal’s very own Just Costa has released their debut single, ‘514’. This is the duos first fully self-produced single, recorded in their own studio, with some help from the retro synth wizard, Paul Shrofel. If you need something that is upbeat, and will put a smile on your face look no further than ‘514’. The energy and positive vibes of the duo talking of “kicking it in the 514” make you want to do the same. Relax and put a smile on. The song is about their hometown of Montreal, and how this is a place that they truly love to be in.
When asked about making the song about Montreal the duo said, “The beauty of a song about a city is that everyone has their own unique stories and experiences within that city. Montreal has no lack of open-mindedness, artsiness, or beautiful people, and this city is an ongoing narrative that threads through the story of our own lives.” They also wanted to say, “Dear Montreal, we fall in love with you all over again, every single day.”
