Skip Marley Teams up with H.E.R. to bring us new song “Slow Down”

Earlier this month Skip Marley, grandson of Reggae and cultural legend Bob Marley, teamed up with pop-star H.E.R. in this new vibe titled Slow Down.  On creating the song, Skip told Vibe Magazine “Love is limitless. Love has no boundaries. Love is almighty.”  When you speak of it, it’s very almighty. It’s a luxury because it really has no limits. I’m a love warrior. I might keep that title for something.”

The musical connection between Skip and H.E.R. is undeniable, and the song takes you to a place of relaxation and love.  Lyrics like “We can have just one night, Or we can one whole life” reflect the calming and loving nature of the song. It’s titled Slow Down and the vibe of the song is a slower, laid back, and chill one.

As they always do, Skip brings that classic “island” sound that the Marley’s do so well!  Definitely give it a listen!
