Formed in South West Scotland in late 2016, 13 Crowes bring together an astute blend of no-frills rock n roll, balancing a cross section of influences, from Chuck Ragan, The Gaslight Anthem and Jared Hart.
In 2018, the UK quartet unveiled their debut album, ‘Young Poets’ a rousing battle cry influenced by their working class heroes and celebrating the “9-5’ers”. Despite the band’s relative youth, 13 Crowes have fine tuned an accomplished brand of melodic rock; heartfelt and emotive lyricism with a resonating rock n’roll delivery. A Springsteen-esque accessibility and a buoyant and uplifting series of rock anthems, earning the Scottish outfit a swell of support moving into this year.
Having announced their signing to Homebound Records, 13 Crowes are now set for their biggest tour to date, as they set off to tackle Europe in early 2020, in support of the new album ‘Solway Star’. Today we are thrilled to premiere their new track “Romantically Broke” – streaming below! The song is an ass-kicking rock n roll gem from start to finish. It’s best played loud…once that chorus hits you’re going to want to shout right along with the band.

Romantically Broke is another one straight from the hip, the lyrics tell delve deep into the life of front man Cammy Black as he presents his life as a Father, Singer, Boxer and Bricklayer looking for a place in the world and dealing with the loss of youth. “I’ve got a couple years left before nature’s gave me all she can give me she said“.
