Joel Cuzzi takes a punk approach and has obviously been influenced by that sound in his simple but emotional new album, Footprints.
It’s easy to hear the impact folk and punk have had on the work of this California musician.
Cuzzi’s music is dedicated to his friend Tony Sly of the band No Use for a Name. The album Footprints is dedicated to his memory.
“My departed friend and musician Tony Sly was a huge inspiration for this record,” Cuzzi said. “A lot of the music was influenced by him. It is dedicated in his memory.”
