Bobbie Morrone sings songs about life — with a twist. His new album, ‘Lonely St.’ blends new Americana singer-songwriter with all the heart and blues of James Taylor to make an important new mark on music.
Lonely St. is set for a Feb. 4 release.
Like a cross between some of the finest male crooners and today’s hipsters, Midwest-based Morrone has an undeniable presence. And after the new album Lonely St. is released on Feb. 4, he probably won’t be lonely for long.

The Theme of Hope Runs Throughout ‘Lonely St.’
The Indianapolis-based musician should have a big following after the release of the latest album. His voice is one in a million and he puts it to good use with the songs in the collection. The songs underscore happiness, heartbreak and regret. But overall, there is a theme of hope that runs through the songs and Lonely St. is actually an upbeat project that encourages people to keep going.
Morrone is like a chameleon of song with some vintage Gerry Rafferty-style Americana thrown in. His latest album is a thoughtful collection of stories and experiences.
There is a tender vulnerability to Bobbie’s voice and the record is impressive in its production quality.
Musicians:
