NY/Chicago rock duo Grand Am is comprised of James Panepinto and David McMillin. The band has been building serious buzz this year with a few big singles and Grand Am poised to break through with their album Waves. Today we are excited to premiere the new track “Angels” – streaming below! The song builds and blossoms nicely, with a fantastic hook and bigtime charm. The band have not disappointed with any of their song releases, and “Angels” continues the trend. If it isn’t already, put the name Grand Am on your radar.

In their own words:

“I’ve found myself writing about the competing forces of good and evil in the universe quite a bit over the past two years — perhaps because it’s been feeling more challenging to hear the voices of those forces of good in a sea of talking heads on cable television and 140-character, all-caps rants online. This is an era marked by head-spinning headline after head-spinning headline. Each one serves as a reminder that we are living in dangerous times. “Angels” is about processing those breaking news stories and navigating a world where progress often seems to be moving backward to make sense of what truly matters. It’s about keeping your ear to the sky to listen for those forces of good and follow their instructions forward.”
