Pittsburgh: Headphone Activist – ‘Central Park’

Since his career inception in 2010, we’ve heard plenty of bangers produced by the Pittsburgh based artist Headphone Activist. Many know him from his very popular single Cloud City – an EDM trap banger that received tons love in 2014. The track had been featured on Trap Nation’s YouTube channel where it built up a whopping 2.6 million views and additionally faced over 1.7 million streams on Spotify. Fans couldn’t get enough of the lively mood that Cloud City had created as a song.

Now Headphone Activist is surprising us with yet another single: Central Park. But this time he’s not hoping to hype up the dancers at a club or party scene like he did with Cloud City – he’s going for the exact opposite.

Central Park has a mellow vibe that is calmer than most of his released music since it involves a simple yet dreamy instrumental that was meant to be heard during nothing but a relaxing scenario. This lo-fi type song really is unique compared to the majority of the Headphone Activist content out there.
