Scott Collins has had the privilege of gracing the most famous stages in the “live music capital of the world”. The Austin based singer-songwriter brings a blend of indie-folk and Americana to the stage. He displays an authentic and emotive element that draws on personal inspiration, and is reflected in his performances, both live and in the studio. He’s ready to release his new EP Roadmaps today, and we’re thrilled to premiere it here on GroundSounds. The EP shows us in 5 tracks why Scott Collins is a name to remember. When you think of the term ‘Americana,’ this is exactly what comes to mind. His vocals, songwriting, and approach perfectly capture a mood and create an atmosphere that draws you in. “I’ve had amazing experiences working on all of my records but I have never gotten as emotional as I did when the mixes came back for “Roadmaps”. This was a journey 9 years in the making and I cant wait to share it with the world. And it’s only the beginning!”
