Four-time Grammy winning artist Kevin Max is self-described as a mystery crooner, subconscious poet and a non-conformist personality. He’s been an integral part of several bands over the years and has an accomplished solo resume. He’s gearing up to release his 13th album AWOL on June 8th and we are thrilled to premiere the new song “Prodigal (Run To You)” today on GroundSounds! The track hooks you in from the start and delivers a memorable gem that highlights Kevin’s vocal talent and songwriting mastery.
In his own words:
Prodigal ( Run to you) is about finding something in your life that is worth returning to, when all hope fades. Everyone has been on a journey that leaves you with more questions than answers, but when we truly believe in something that is unshakeable, we will do whatever it takes to get back to it. I wrote this song based on my life as a parable, redemption has always been the key aspect to my story…. you can run, but you cannot hide from what rules your heart.
