Gabriel still believes that you can find love in the big city.
Gabriel was born in Chicago and grew up in Los Angeles, where the waves of population can sometimes drown out a fragile treasure like romance. But if you keep the faith and put out the right vibes, love will come to you.
He sounds like John Cougar Mellencamp blended with Elvis Costello and REM, but he grew up in a Latin-American household, influenced by all different musical genres. Gabriel’s a fan of great songwriters and sounds ranging from Procol Harum and “Summer of Love” bands to rock and roll and rythm and blues.
Gabriel’s Upbeat and Hopeful Sound
So it’s no surprise Gabriel has created a sound that grabs your attention and gives an upbeat and good feeling. “Baby It’s You” is like going to the party at the cool kids’ house, where you might even meet that special person.

Gabriel Knew He’d be Making Music
Gabriel knew from early on that one day he would be making his own music and influence others. He wrote his first song in his early 20s during his “British Invasion” phase. He has a tremendous love for The Beatles and The Rolling Stones, but the one who made him want to sing was Rod Stewart, then with Faces.
Gabriel on Reverb Nation
Gabriel has played in many bands including The Jinns, Shelter, and FiDo. Also, he became quite the booker for live music at Club Lingerie, the Garage, and others. His most important mission was to help other musicians have a chance and now he’s giving himself a chance. His first EP, which will debut in May, is called Love Lives Here.
