MACEDO is comprised of twin sisters Michelle and Melissa, who are gearing up to release their new album Ghost Town on February 2nd. The girls are opposites in nature and temperament, yet are connected by the inexplicable, emotional bond only shared by twins. Never knowing when inspiration will strike, one sister can start a song and the other can finish it. Their upcoming album came from a difficult time Michelle faced when struggling with depression and anxiety. We are thrilled to premiere the live video for the beautiful track “Sea of You” today on GroundSounds. The close nature of the video angle amplifies the tracks phenomenal piano, gorgeous harmonies, and intense emotion.
In their own words:
“This song was written about a difficult relationship that was very controlling and unhealthy. It is about having the ability to break free even if you feel broken and prevailing at the end. It’s the untold struggles we as women experience daily and the inner warrior inside each of us.”
