New Jersey band The Victory Drive originally began climbing the ranks in the late 2000’s. After going solo for a period, singer songwriter Jamie McClanahan has built the band back up and they’re on the verge of releasing a lot of new songs in 2018. We are thrilled to premiere the new track “Hey, Anxiety!” today on GroundSounds. The track is accessibly comforting while exploring an uncomfortable theme. If songs like this are what we have to look forward to, 2018 will be a big year for The Victory Drive.
McClanahan on the song:
“Like so many other people, I suffer from anxiety so crippling I won’t leave the house for days… I figured writing a song about it would help, but it didn’t. Hopefully it will help people that identify though!”
