With interlocking guitar riffs, soaring vocals and freshly synced rhythms, Vancouver based alternative rockers HAWKING are creating atmospheric rock tones that are pure sonic goodness. The guys recently released their debut album ‘Diverge,’ featured on the project is the fresh new track “Catalyst,” the accompanying live session video is now premiering exclusively on GroundSounds.
Frontman Tom Vanderkam had this to say about the bands live session:
“We’re very stoked to give everyone an intimate experience with this live session for Catalyst. Of all the tracks on Diverge we’ve always particularly dug this one, so the video to go with it had to be on point. We played with a bunch of concepts but none really felt like they served the song properly. Ultimately we realized what we wanted was just the 4 of us playing live, up-close and personal, nothing flashy. So here’s that.”
