Gathering influence from classic literature and famed novelists, Los Angeles based folk singer‐songwriter, William Caleb Parker, has worked hard on his most recent EP ‘Marie‘. Featured on his latest project and premiering exclusively on GroundSounds is the video for “Zossima,” a song that was inspired by Fyodor Dostoevsky’s novel, The Brothers Karamazov. The verses of the song are taken from the main character’s dying speech.

William had this to say about his latest single:

Zossima is a song for anyone. Dostoevsky was telling us about a way we can see the world that is full of hope and just ignores some of the stuff we get caught up on. Like, time.
