London based indie-folk singer Lena Laki is gearing up for the release of her forthcoming debut EP ‘Take Me With.’ The German born songstress originally started performing jazz and folk covers, however she quickly got to working on her own material while fine-tuning her unique style. Featured on her forthcoming project and premiering exclusively on GroundSounds is the title track “Take Me With.”

Lena had this to say about her latest single:

“This song has always been very special to me, I think it’s my happiest and most melancholic song at the same time. In a way, its a song about being afraid of your own dreams, especially when they come true. It’s about feeling always unprepared and overwhelmed when your wishes are fulfilled. What do you do, and what do you say, when life, or someone, finally says yes? I guess you might say it’s a song about the moment after the greatest moment of your life…”

Stream “Take Me With” below and keep a lookout for the EP, it’s set to be released in April.
