Featuring mellow drums and melancholy guitars, North London based band Lull are premiering their fresh new track “Cicada” exclusively on GroundSounds. The four-piece recently dropped their debut self-titled EP and are making moves as they create pure sonic shoegaze goodness.
Lull’s lead singer Jon had this to say about the bands latest single:
‘I had the idea for Cicada when I was laying on a beach. It was dark and all you could hear were bullfrogs moaning and cicadas whirring over and over. There were lights on the horizon that looked like monsters shimmering on the surface. The contrast between the dizzying peace of the island and the waiting noise of the sea informed the nature of the track and reflect how moments of nothing are sometimes all that’s needed to spark ideas.‘
