Brooklyn-based dreamy, pop-soul group Frances Cone go straight for the mind’s eye and heart with their impressive new track “Arizona,” streaming below. The song builds across sonic landscapes, giving the ears what the eyes might observe in Arizona’s Sedona Desert, metaphorically speaking of course.
The song opens with lead singer Christina Cone’s beautiful and heartfelt poetics, hooking the listener from the get go and encompassing them within her soundscape. The track’s bridge and chorus expose her raw and haunting croon while the melodic riff of the guitar carries listeners off into fuzzy dream-pop goodness.
Frances Cone, comprised of Christina Cone, Andrew Doherty and Alex Bar, are gearing up to release their album Late Riser this spring. Stream “Arizona” and be sure to look for more from the group soon.
