She has been waiting for a moment like this! New Jersey based folk-rock songstress Chelsea Carlson is gearing up for her debut LP, The Broken Road, set to be released in February 2016. Featured on the project and premiering exclusively on GroundSounds is the fresh new track “Lost In Love,” it’s a powerful song, full of emotion and pure sonic goodness.
Chelsea had this to say about her latest single:
“Lost in Love” has been a part of my setlist for so long that it’s really just become a part of who I am as a musician. I never expected to write a love song, so when “Lost in Love” popped out one day I was kind of surprised with myself! It’s the fastest I’ve ever written a song, having completely finished it in a day. Actually, I wrote most of it in the acoustic guitar room of a Guitar Center. It’s been great getting to watch this song evolve over the years from the little acoustic song it started out as to the full on rock song it is on The Broken Road.
