Toronto based singer, multi-instrumentalist and producer Mormor (Seth Nyquist) is coming in hot off of his debut single “Live For Nothing.” Wasting no time, Mormor is pumping out more sonic goodness, premiering exclusively on GroundSounds is the fresh and smooth track “Some Kind Of Luck.”
Mormor had this to say about his latest single:
“I started this song with the baseline. I wanted to put something together that felt aggressive and uneasy but then was balanced by a vocal that was delicate. I want people to have their own interpretation of the song… However, I was feeling as if I was running out of resources and I wanted a chance for my music to be heard. I needed an escape from my everyday life… I believe you kind of create your reality through fantasy… Especially when you’re not in the position you want to be in.“
