Montreal based electro-folk band Dear Criminals (Frannie Holder, Charles Lavoie, Vincent Legault) have been riding a wave of pure sonic goodness. Featuring complementing vocalists and textured soundscapes the trio have definitely perked up our eardrums. Premiering exclusively on GroundSounds is their fresh new video for “Drop.”

Frannie had this to say about their latest track:

“The theme of the song is distance, absence, fantasy, grief. A type of love that is better left imagined. It’s a song about impossibilities, and its infinite desire. The music video had to be made in twenty-four hours.”

“Drop” is featured on Dear Criminals latest EP Strip, grab a copy now and check out the video below.
