We recently came across a very fresh and pleasant folk-rock outfit out of San Diego known as The Liquorsmiths, so naturally we knew we had to share their amazing sounds with you fine people! The single that grabbed our attention “Get Well Soon” is streaming below and features upbeat percussion, clean acoustic guitar strumming, and the comforting vocals of lead singer Drew Thams. Their new record This Book Belongs To, set be released 8/21, is a solid 6-track EP that was recorded at Inhesion Studios in Atlanta and Citizen Recording in San Diego.
Having already completed a couple of West Coast tours, as well as a handful of festivals, it feels like they’re getting ready to break out onto the Indie-Folk scene any second now. Filled with strong emotions, sincere conviction, and extremely powerful songwriting, This Book Belongs To, along with the live EP it’s been packaged with, promises to rock the scene and maybe touch some hearts along the way.
