Featuring heavy influences ranging from jazz to blues to 90’s anti-folk and 60’s soul, NY based songstress, Audra Isadora is delving into the deeply feminine with the release of her second EP,  Bravely, Girl. Premiering exclusively on GroundSounds the 4 track EP follows her critically acclaimed self-titled debut that was released in spring of 2014.

Audra had this to say about Bravely, Girl:

Bravely, Girl is about girlhood. It is a display of feminine power in true and diverse forms. It is all glam, all soul, and distinctly my own. It showcases my multi-faceted, sometimes daft, artist’s voice. Every track represents a piece of my story, and illuminates a quality that is most precious to me: Bravery.”

Audra will be performing tonight (July 2nd) at Rockwood Music Hall, Stage 2 at 8pm and it’s free. She will also be performing a tribute to Grace Jones called “Grace.Period” on July 27 at Joe’s Pub, the show begins at 9:30pm and tickets are $12 advance/$15 door. Check out Bravely, Girl below.
