Venture to a new galaxy of psychedelic vocals, catchy beats and unexpected melodies with Louis Schwadron as your guide. His electro-pop alter ego, Sky White Tiger, has released a new track called “I Might Be Wrong” off of recently released EP, Child of Fire. Schwadron thrives off of musical experimentation and poetic rhetoric. While the “creeps keep creeping on” and the “pearls keep pearling on,” listeners will keep listening on.
Schwadron has worked as a sideman for many years, playing and touring with numerous famed artists including: David Bowie, Radiohead, St. Vincent, Elton John, The National, Grizzly Bear, Sufjan Stevens, Alberta Cross and playing as a member of Polyphonic Spree and Rufus Wainwright’s band. Now, under his new moniker, Sky White Tiger is receiving great praise. Entertainment Weekly writes, “His new EP, Child of Fire, fuses contemporary electronics and classic rock songcraft, bringing some of Bowie’s Ziggy Stardust-era sci-fi fantasy into the 21st century.”
Sky White Tiger plans to release new music in the coming months and is set to play Communion New York’s monthly residency at Rockwood Music Hall on June 2nd, 2015.
