LA based electronic synth-pop duo Leitbur continue to crush it with a contagious new wave sound! Premiering exclusively on GroundSounds, their latest track “Strange in L.A.” features surging synths complimented by a nostalgic 80s vibe – it is pure sonic goodness. Frontman Jaron Widman had this to say about the new jam:

Strange in L.A. was inspired by all of the crazy things I’ve experienced while living in this city for the last decade. The weirdness of Hollywood Blvd when the tourists aren’t around. The madness of Venice Beach. The opulence of the hills. And everywhere, the people. The people, trying so hard to be noticed, to be perfect, to be left alone. I would walk down Hollywood Blvd, and I would think, being the normal, clean-cut kid that I was, that I was the strange one. I was out of place. That’s what Strange in LA. is about.”

“Strange in L.A.” is from Leitbur’s upcoming EP The Moment That I Knew You, which is expected to drop on April 21st, check out the fresh new track below.
