In the first of a series of lifestyle events in Downtown Los Angeles, the renowned Conga Room hosted an incredibly exclusive event in LA this past Friday night. The event was in celebration of hip-hop heavyweight and radio personality Big Boy’s birthday. The star-studded affair was hosted by Ludacris, who also performed a few of his smash hits, including “Move B*tch” and “All I Do is Win.” For myself and many others who grew up listening to Luda, this experience definitely felt special. It was an intimate performance, but he still brought the energy and enthusiasm known so well from his classic albums.

Tay F 3rd (rapper) also hit the stage to sing his radio sensation, “AOK.” The exclusive VIP area played host to Hollywood hotshots like Victor Ortiz, Nick Young a.k.a. Swaggy P, Matt Barnes, Baron Davis, Tatyana Ali, Shar Jackson, Roshon, Billy Sorrells, Mac Lucci, Elise Neal, and many more.

This superb evening was the first of many future events between the venue and Big Boy Productions, a partnership combining the two entertainment entities to round out the year with a variety of lifestyle nights. Events will focus on influential industry movers and shakers, to include Lakers’ and Clippers’ after parties, the ESPY’s, BET, and other signature opportunities at the Conga Room at LA Live.
