GroundSounds is super excited to be exclusively premiering a new single today. Go ahead and open those ear holes of yours and experience the crisp, new track titled “I’ve Been Seduced,” from Copenhagen indie rockers The New Investors. The New Investors have been on our radar for quite some time now and we always love hearing what these guys are up to. The new song is the the sixth sprout in a sequence of quirky and melodic pop gems to come from the Copenhagen indie-pop ensemble. Produced by the group themselves and recorded and mixed at Viktoria Recording Studio in Copenhagen, the theme of the track revolves around the tendencies of the advertising industry and the constant attempts to seduce the public with dreams of love, sex, richness and fame.
Accompanying the new single are the visuals above, containing shots of, well…mostly legs and feet. It tells a story by focusing on the movements and footsteps of the characters, while also showing shots of the drummer with his foot on the pedal, hitting the kick drum. This truly fits well because this song is also perfect to walk to. It’s entertaining, clever, and most of all, it’s not distracting and doesn’t draw your attention away from the fact this song is quite simply awesome.
