Ginger Wildheart is on the grind with G.A.S.S

In a world that’s gone mad for fan funding the gap between artists and fans has become smaller. One man has decided to completely remove the middle man and go one step further, that man is Ginger Wildheart. Ginger, who’s best known for being frontman of The Wildhearts, made history in 2011 by raising the funds for his triple album 555% in just a few hours on Pledgemusic. Never one to let an opportunity pass him by he took the concept and ran with it, releasing a further four albums in the next two years. Each pledge campaign was full to the brim with fan content, and that content made campaigns extremely popular with the fans.

Relishing this chance to connect with his fans Ginger decide to break down the last divide possible without actually coming to your house and licking your face. G.A.S.S (Ginger Associated Secret Society) is a fan club for the 21st century. Instead of the occasional newsletter and badge normally associated with fan clubs, members of G.A.S.S receive 3 new songs each month so over it’s twelve month run there will be 36 new songs!

Thirty. Six.

Along with this there are unreleased demos and rare tracks, access to exclusive podcasts and video content as well as competitions with one of a kind prizes and advance access to Ginger gigs.

Only available to members and with price points to appeal to most budgets (as Ginger has said “it’s cheaper than water”) the best thing is that all the content stays live for the entire 12 months so fans can join when they like and not miss out on anything.

G.A.S.S. is proving to be something pretty unique and with content that chronicles his time with Courtney Love, tours of Japan and demos of songs originally intended for rock royalty it’s never anything less than entertaining.

Get on it. Get G.A.S.S.
